Honeywood Restaurant

Came on Saturday and it was the brunch menu. I wanted the smash burger and thankfully it’s on the menu for brunch. But I love lunch during the week with the ham and bean soup. Tomato is always good though. Great atmosphere.

Upon viewing the menu, it was interesting to see that a starter at a place to eat could be pork rinds. But these were pretty tasty! Paired with that honey, it was quite a nice combo. I also had the chicken sandwich, it was really good and juicy, enjoyable down to the last bite :) Several weeks prior, I'd tried their Eggs Benedict (not shown here) and wow... quite a cornucopia of flavor, I will say! Some of the best hollandaise sauce I'd ever tasted! The service was good too, i just lost the receipt and can't remember the name :(. But I'd say, check this place out!

We enjoyed our time at Honeywood. Everyone was friendly and gave great recommendations. The waitress waited at our table until I cut into my steak to insure that it was cooked to my liking. I really appreciate their attention to detail. The drinks were strong and incredible. We loved the brussel sprouts and the benigets lived up to the hype. They're a must. I really wish I had tried the duck with risotto as well after having such a great meal. We ended dinner with peanut butter pie. It was worth all of the beautiful calories!!!

My wife and I had been here before last time we visited Lexington. This time we wanted to treat our local friends to a nice dinner, and we had a fantastic dining experience! The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy yet elegant, making it a great spot for a casual outing or a special occasion. Honeywood's food and drink menu is diverse, the service is always good and the vibe is great. We tried many dishes, including the following: Sweet potato beignets. Shrimp & grits. Crab rice. Huntsman cassoulet. Salmon. Mac & cheese and fries. Beetloaf. Cocktails. Everything was delicious and good. The flavors were vibrant, and the presentation was on point. Our server was good but seemed a bit rushed. The restaurant is located in a great shopping plaza with plenty to do within walking distance. There is plenty of free parking around. We were happy, satisfied, and eager to return! Overall, 100% recommended.

First time in and first table seated for their new years offering. Waiter had a few too many punch lines for my taste but the food was definitely top tier. I asked for a box not to be treated like an idiot. Can I get a box and he said something along the lines of I dont know can you? 250 plus we spent on dinner I expected better.

Sweet potato beignets and chicken satay as appetizers. Shrimp and grits, wild caught salmon, barbecue lamb, and a smashburger . All were incredible. Wonderful service in a lovely environment. The chef/owner has been nominated a couple of times for James Beard awards and former executive chef, Lawrence Weeks was also nominated in 2024. Prices are reasonable: like shrimp and grits for $26.--So, this restaurant will not give a father a heart attack when looking at the bill at the end of the night, either. Wonderful dinner before checking into a hotel.

My friend and I had an incredible dining experience at Honeywood Restaurant! The menu was diverse, and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The burger was absolutely delicious—juicy, perfectly cooked, and topped with fresh, flavorful ingredients. We also tried one of their seafood dishes, which was just as amazing. The flavors were vibrant, and the presentation was stunning. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy yet elegant, making it a great spot for a casual outing or a special occasion. We left feeling happy, satisfied, and eager to return!
